About

I’m an entrepreneur, internet geek and community activist. I love to travel the world but always come back to Texas, my home sweet home.

Having a strong vision is essential to success. And that’s why I’ve called this blog Guiding Vision. Whether a non profit organization, company or individual – having a powerful vision will keep you focused and motivated toward greatness.

My personal vision is to work toward an equitable and just society. Equal access to healthcare, equity for women in the workplace, preventing childhood hunger and social entrepreneurship are some of my interests.

I used my web technology skills to start a website called Step by Step Fundraising in 2003.  I focused on providing website visitors practical fundraising information through free articles, email newsletters, and premium content in the form of ebooks and seminars.  The site became quite popular, consistently bringing in 56K unique visitors and 130K pageviews each month.  Through running my own websites I’ve gained experience in web development, social media, SEO, PPC, mobile marketing, copywriting, as well as other marketing skills.

In July 2010 I sold Step by Step Fundraising and its related sites to another company. Since then I have been doing some freelancing, working part-time for Foundations for Laity Renewal and enjoying life!
