The Soundtrack for Today Began With the Letter P

When I jump on the computer in the morning I often crank up the music.  I have tons of songs that I’ve ripped from my CD’s or downloaded from eMusic.  I use Windows Media Player or when I’m on the go I’ve got my Sansa Clip.  (iPods are overpriced and overrated IMO).  Back in the day we had “jam boxes.” Yes I’m a child of the ’80s.

Speaking of which the soundtrack for today began with Prince.  Since I’m now not just on my own but actually in a real office I put on headphones.  Of course that does not stop me from dancing or occasionally singing along… to the amusement of my office mates.

My music...p

What’s the soundtrack of your day?

One of the very first cassettes I ever went out and bought on my own was the Police’s Synchronicity, way back in 1983. (I think the very first was from the Gap Band- the one with “You Dropped the Bomb on Me…” Pretty embarrassing)

I made a huge jump in my musical tastes in between purchases…

Anyway, when I read the title of the posts, I thought you’d be writing about Sesame Street, you know, like the Letter of the Day is “P”. I guess having four little kids warps your sense of cool…

The first album I bought was Michael Jackson’s Thriller…it was on the right side of cool at the time but you know how time has changed that. LOL!
