View from the 6th Floor

Uncategorized

The theme for the Photohunt given on Saturday, September 27th was “view.” So today I’m posting a view out the window of our 6th floor office space.  We just moved in about a month ago.  Here’s the little city park that’s across the street from us:

Then I actually went to the park to get a ground level close up of the horse sculptures.  These are part of a city wide project sponsored by Leadership Wichita Falls.

Here’s the other side of the pony.  This painting shows many of the recognizable buildings in our downtown area, including the big blue “skyscraper” near the top center.  That’s our building.

That is an incredible view! I bet you could stand by that window when you just need a 5 minute “breather” from work! Those horses are pretty incredible as well!

Great view – I’m sure you love being in that building.

The horses are interesting. I have seen cities with animal statues like that around. I saw one with cows and one with turtles if you can believe that, lol. Why they choose turtles I have no idea. I think horses are a great idea, though.

    Welcome to PhotoHunt.

Jaime, well that is definitely the best view… no mountains on the horizon or anything. Just flat northwest Texas dirt! You know how that is.

Baker, thanks for the welcome to the PhotoHunt. I really enjoy your views of the pond, fishes and lizards! Reminds me of my grandpa’s farm when I was a kid.
